Terms of Service

By downloading, installing, or using PlateMates ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App. The App is developed and operated by Athlete Mindset Inc. ("we," "us," or "our").

PlateMates is a meal planning application that provides split recipes with vegan and omnivore versions, weekly meal planning, grocery list generation, nutrition tracking, community features, and AI-powered recipe generation. Some features require a paid subscription (PlateMates+).

You must be at least 13 years of age to use the App. If you are under 18, you must have the consent of a parent or legal guardian. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements.

Certain features of the App, including community features, require you to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

PlateMates+ is available as a subscription through Apple's App Store. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID account settings. Prices are subject to change with notice.

You may submit recipes, comments, and other content ("User Content") through the App's community features. You retain ownership of your User Content but grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute your User Content within the App. You are solely responsible for your User Content and represent that it does not violate any third-party rights.

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Post offensive, harmful, or misleading content
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Interfere with or disrupt the App's infrastructure
• Scrape or collect data from the App without authorization
• Impersonate another person or entity

PlateMates+ includes AI-powered features that generate recipes and nutritional information. AI-generated content is provided for informational and inspirational purposes only. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or safety of AI-generated recipes or nutrition data. Always use your own judgment when preparing food, particularly regarding allergies, food safety, and dietary restrictions.

The App, including its design, code, graphics, and curated recipe content, is owned by Athlete Mindset Inc. and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the App without our prior written consent.

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Athlete Mindset Inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or data, arising out of or in connection with your use of the App. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App or subscription in the twelve months preceding the claim.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Athlete Mindset Inc., its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination shall survive.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms in the App or on our website. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
