Ingredients

Shared Base

Both partners cook these together

  • 4 cup boxed vegetable broth
  • 14 oz can canned diced tomatoes with green chiles
  • 15 oz can canned black beans, drained
  • 1 cup frozen corn
  • 1 cup tortilla chips
  • 1 lime
  • ¼ cup fresh cilantro
  • 1 tsp ground cumin

Vegan Path

Black Beans + Avocado

  • 1 avocado, diced

Omnivore Path

Rotisserie Chicken + Cheddar

  • 1 cup rotisserie chicken, shredded
  • ¼ cup shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions

Cook Together

    Combine broth, diced tomatoes, black beans, corn, and cumin in a pot. Bring to a boil and simmer 6 minutes.

    Ladle into two bowls and top each with tortilla chips, cilantro, and a squeeze of lime.

Vegan Path

    Top one bowl with diced avocado.

Omnivore Path

  1. 1

    Top the other bowl with shredded rotisserie chicken and cheddar.
