- •4 cup boxed tomato soup
- •4 slice sourdough bread
- •2 tbsp butter (or vegan butter)
- •¼ cup fresh basil leaves

- •½ cup shredded vegan cheddar
Omnivore Path
Sharp Cheddar Melt
- •4 oz sharp cheddar cheese, sliced
Instructions
Cook Together

Warm the tomato soup in a saucepan over medium heat. Stir in fresh basil at the end.

Butter both sides of each bread slice for grilling.
Vegan Path

Layer vegan cheddar between two slices and grill in a skillet until golden and melty, about 3 minutes per side. Serve with one bowl of soup.
