Ingredients

Shared Base

Both partners cook these together

  • 2 cup frozen mixed vegetable medley
  • 2 cup store-bought potato wedges
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tbsp whole grain mustard (for serving)

Vegan Path

Vegan Sausage

  • 2 vegan sausage links (Beyond/Field Roast)

Omnivore Path

Italian Sausage

  • 2 Italian sausage links

Instructions

Cook Together

  1. 1

    Preheat oven to 450°F. Toss frozen veg and potato wedges with olive oil, paprika, and garlic powder. Spread on a sheet pan.

    Roast for 7 minutes until veg is hot and wedges are crisp.

Vegan Path

  1. 1

    Slice vegan sausages and add to one half of the tray for the last 5 minutes of roasting.

Omnivore Path

  1. 1

    Slice Italian sausages and add to the other half of the tray for the full 7 minutes so they cook through.
