Both partners cook these together
- •8 small corn tortillas
- •15 oz can canned refried beans
- •½ cup jarred salsa verde
- •¼ cup fresh cilantro
- •¼ white onion, diced
- •1 lime
Vegan Path
Soy Chorizo
- •6 oz soy chorizo (e.g. Soyrizo)
Omnivore Path
Carnitas
- •8 oz pre-cooked carnitas pouch
- •¼ cup queso fresco, crumbled
Instructions
Cook Together

Warm refried beans in the microwave for 90 seconds. Warm tortillas in a dry skillet or wrapped in a damp towel in the microwave.

Spread each tortilla with refried beans and top with salsa verde.
Vegan Path

Sauté soy chorizo in a dry skillet for 3 minutes. Spoon onto half the tortillas and top with cilantro, onion, and lime.
Omnivore Path

Heat the carnitas pouch per package and crisp briefly in a skillet. Spoon onto the other tortillas and top with queso fresco, cilantro, onion, and lime.
