Ingredients

Shared Base

Both partners cook these together

  • 1 8.5 oz microwave brown rice pouch
  • ½ cup kalamata olives
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • ½ cucumber, diced
  • 2 cup baby spinach
  • 1 lemon
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Vegan Path

Falafel

  • 6 frozen falafel, heated
  • ¼ cup vegan tzatziki (or hummus)

Omnivore Path

Gyro Meat + Feta

  • 6 oz store-bought gyro meat strips, heated
  • ¼ cup jarred tzatziki sauce
  • ¼ cup crumbled feta cheese

Instructions

Cook Together

  1. 1

    Microwave the rice pouch per package (90 seconds) and divide between two bowls.

  2. 2

    Top each bowl with olives, tomatoes, cucumber, spinach, a squeeze of lemon, and a drizzle of olive oil.

Vegan Path

  1. 1

    Heat falafel per package and add to one bowl with vegan tzatziki.

Omnivore Path

  1. 1

    Heat gyro strips in a skillet for 2 minutes and add to the other bowl with tzatziki and feta.
